When I was 16, I got my very first Canon digital camera. It was a birthday gift from my mother and I was beyond excited. A little larger than a deck of cards, that thing packed a punch with features like "macro mode" and (my personal favorite) "color select." From the day I took it out of the box and heard the signature Canon start-up chime, a little spark ignited. The spark turned into a small hobby, then an artistic venture, an interest, a frustration, a passion, and has now blossomed into a career and life goal. I am one of the few people that can honestly say I love my job. And I do; I LOVE my job.
My passion and reason for living is my sweet baby, Hazel Mae. Everything I do is with her in mind. She is very acquainted (much to her dismay) with the front of my camera. When she isn't running at full speed into her room and slamming the door at the sight of my camera, she makes for the most beautiful subject. My favorite photos of all time are of her sweet face. Every wall in my house is adorned with those photos.
Thanks so much for taking the time to get aquainted with me. I hope to get to know you, as well! I'd love to hear all about your passions, your wedding, the love of your life, your kids, or your college plans.
Productions 918 uses a Canon 5D Mark III for primary shooting and a Canon 6D. I have an assortment of Canon lenses, but my favorites are the 135mm f/2 and the 50mm f/1.2. Recently added to my bag is the Sigma ART 35mm f/1.4 and it is an exceptional lens. I occasionally use flash units, but prefer natural lighting above anything else. Productions 918 is located in Amarillo, Tx and I love to photograph weddings, seniors, babies, families, and engagements (to name a few!) I love to travel, so if you'd like for me to come to you.. just ask!
